Meet Gerry

Welcome to the MouzonForSheriff.com website! I would like to extend a hand to each of you, by asking that you get involved by joining the “Mouzon for Sheriff Team” and help make a difference.

With more than 26 years of law enforcement experience with the State Highway Patrol, 16 of those years as a supervisor, management training, and a trained law enforcement policy writer, I understand the importance of providing quality leadership and the positive affect it has on an organization, and the citizens it serves.

Under my leadership, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office will:

  • Maintain an ongoing dialog with the citizens, and
  • Promote community safety

It is important to understand that this campaign is about you, and how we will work together to make Johnston County a safer place to live, raise a family, and operate a business.
